Favorite Healthy Desserts

Okay, to be totally real I am not a dessert person. Give me salty and savory any day over sweets! haha BUT there are times where I am craving a little somethin' somethin' so I thought I would share with you a few of my go to favs that are easy but also healthy!! Let me know which ones are your favorite :) 

1. Dark Chocolate Covered Espresso Beans from Trader Joe's

2. Dark Chocolate Chip stuffed Raspberries

3. Halo Top Ice Cream

4. Protein Mug Cake

Ingredients: 

1 scoop of flavored protein powder (I use chocolate and vanilla) 

1/4 cup egg whites

1/2 mashed banana

1/2 tsp baking powder

pinch of salt

Instructions: 

Mix all ingredients together in mug. Microwave for 2 minutes and enjoy! 

5. Banana Ice Cream

Ingredients: 

3 large ripe bananas, chopped and frozen

2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder

3 tbsp natural peanut butter

Instructions: 

Place all ingredients in blender or food processor. Process until ice cream consistency is reached! You can always do half the peanut butter, process and then stir in the rest to create "chunks" and a different consistency! Eat immediately or store in freezer for later :)
